Kate Burton

Kate has worked in education for 22 years across Manchester, Bradford and Leeds.  Her experience has specialised in challenging inner-city schools whilst working across all levels of senior leadership and across both Primary and Secondary.   More recently, Kate has taken a school on a significant journey from Inadequate to Good in just over 2 years.  Behaviour and culture are areas that Kate believes are at the heart of successful schools and, alongside her recent Executive leadership qualification, these are areas that Kate has extensive experience in. 

Away from education, Kate spends most of her time being a keen football fan and season ticket holder at both York City and Manchester United.  If not following football,  Kate is usually tending to the animals on her small holding - sheep, goats, a donkey and horses keep her very busy and restore her well-being perfectly!
