Zoe is an experienced teacher with over 12 years’ experience in primary education. She has taught in all year groups within the primary phase and has taken on many leadership roles. She has worked as an advisor to support a number of Primary Schools.
Zoe has been working for the trust since 2019. Since then, she has been providing support to the Trust’s Primary Schools to ensure a high quality of education. She works with the Senior Leadership Teams to identify areas for development and then helps the schools to improve in these areas. This support is varied and can include supporting the development of subject leaders, advising on specific subject curriculum areas and coordinating CPD.
Zoe is an experienced coach and has worked 1:1 with classroom teachers to develop their teaching. Zoe has helped to build the relationships between the schools; for example, by setting up regular network meetings where senior leaders can share good practice. She also works to support transition between KS2 and KS3.
“One of the roles that has a clear impact on our school is the the Trust provides support through Zoe, who is the Primary Quality of Education Lead. She somes in once a week and basically picks up any area of school improvement I want to pass to her. You have someone you can say ‘Pick this up’ and that’s been really helpful. She feeds back to you in a really supportive way and that just makes your life a little bit easier, as a Headteacher.”
