Richard is an experienced Facilities Manager and Contract Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the construction industry. He is skilled in Construction, Procurement, Facility Management (FM) and Contract Negotiation.
Richard worked within a building maintenance role for several years, gaining experience for all building management, and has been a Facilities and Estates Manager for the last 13 years. He has also worked in Contract Management.
Richard is able to deliver a full service plan and Project Management for both new projects and improvement projects. He has been heavily involved in Health and Safety and training, providing training and compliance development programmes for site staff in different industries.
Working with Site and Business Managers, Richard can successfully identify and program works and funding schemes, for new and redevelopment opportunities within schools.
He has knowledge of PFI funding programs from working with Interserv, looking after 5 Secondary schools and 3 leisure centres, redeveloping areas to accommodate new learning programs within schools. He also has experience from within the construction industry, working as a Handover and Latent Defects Manager, giving him exceptional insight in to managing other contractors on projects.
