Pippa McPherson: Community Engagement and School Marketing

A marketing and communications professional with extensive experience of working in theatre and business, Pippa joined Prince Henry’s to work on the Community Education programme.

In recent years, her role has developed to encompass marketing across the Trust, working with member schools to increase pupil recruitment and enhance their profile. This involves everything from ‘hands on’ redesign of prospectuses, website or banners, to procuring print and websites, writing press releases or twitter feeds and working with agencies to produce materials of all kinds.

She held the post of Chair of Governors in a local primary school and is experienced in the issues facing both primary and secondary schools, when it comes to marketing and engaging with our communities. She is also experienced in managing the issues which can arise between a school and their community.

During her tenure at Prince Henry’s, Sixth Form recruitment and income generation have increased significantly. She is an experienced press officer, working with media across the region to develop the profile of both partner schools and the Trust.

Pippa is based at Prince Henry’s Grammar School and can be contacted on info@princehenrys.co.uk, 01943 463524.
