Garry Cousins: IT Director

(BSc Hons – Business Information Technology)

Garry has 25 years of experience working within the field of IT, starting off primarily in business, ranging from SME’s to then progressing into Management within large global organisations, then, more recently, moving over into the Education sector.

Garry has led and managed many large-scale projects within both business and education involving mission critical ERP system changes, PBX-Cloud migrations, CRM, P2V rollouts and many more.

“The exposure to a plethora of diverse systems and approaches has enabled me to think a little differently when it comes to many IT solutions. I pride myself in being considerate to existing systems and approaches, not to simply use ‘IT’ without prior thought and consideration to possible ramifications elsewhere. I endeavor to work closely with each of the schools within the Trust to help them overcome such challenges and watch them thrive in their own right, through and by the use of Technology.”

Garry came to the Trust from the position of Technical Manager for AdEPT, where he was responsible for a Team of IT Engineers within the North of the UK.

“The IT support from the Trust has enabled us to have whole school Praise and Worship on a weekly basis, due to the installation of a whiteboard and speaker in the hall. The IT Team came up with the solution and supported us through the delivery of the project.”
