George Petrie

George is one of the founding Trustees of the Collaborative Learning Trust (CLT) and has extensive experience of primary school governance. George volunteered as a School Governor for over 8 years with Bramhope Primary School, one of the CLT’s Academy Schools.

Professionally, George practised law as a solicitor in the commercial sector working in commercial and debt litigation and with experience in property law. George left legal practice and moved into the third sector in a non-practising capacity. George worked for a national debt advice charity for 7 years, 4 years in their risk and compliance directorate, and currently works for a local Building Society.

George enjoys participating in running and triathlon outside of work.
